Probably nothing - now. Unfortunately for all of us, women of other backgrounds may just get lumped into the same group of "no headcoverings at all of any sort just because we can't figure out how to make every one feel safe and we don't know what headcoverings are for anyway" in the future too. :(LisaM at ThoseHeadcoveringshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01802987214219777442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6514670074360507153.post-82074888802007746092009-01-04T10:53:00.000-05:002009-01-04T10:53:00.000-05:00I am so with you. I do think that the first thing...I am so with you. I do think that the first thing the airline did was probably proper after some stupid kid (most likely) misheard something and who knows what they told the flight attendants.
but when the FBI cleared them and they refused to get them another flight - sorry that is so wrong on so many levels. No excuse.
BTW, I am a Christian who will probably wear a headscarf next time I am on a plane since I cover my head to pray and I am scared of heights - so I'll be praying alot. I wonder if me talking about safety concerns will get me ejected from plane. Might be interesting to find out. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
