Interesting article...But did anyone else read the comments below it? That gives me more of an idea where Oregonians stand on religious "garb" (what a choice of word, it's not a meeting at the local renaissance faire!) than does the article.

Covering sisters, I've been blessed to be apart of a team tackling the problem of gaining enough support in Oregon's Senate to pass a repeal to the original Oregon law 342.650.
I've written extensively about it, and we've organized a bit against the law.
Feb. 10 there will be busses to travel to Salem and information about speaking with Senate staff about issues like a law up for repeal.
We will be meeting at PSU and various other places.
Regardless K. you're the one I hope to speak with about perhaps coalitions with covering Christians. You know my deal sister :)

Elzabet- Sometimes comment on news articles is more from the ridiculous wave of web trolling wackos. I try not to read comments on decent articles because responses are less than well rounded. :) sigh.

Mother Mary and Mother Teresa would have been prevented in schools. Poor Laura Ingles as well. Truly why is forcing someone not to wear a covering more free and "neutral" as the ACLU contends? Can you believe the ACLU is the only major opponent at this time?
